In 1949(24 of the Showa era),Ms,Kuroda Hide,the first mistress,opened this Japanese-style restaurant
‘’Shougetsu’’ in this district.
Since then,the good ideas and the warm heart of the founder Hide have been succeeded to her daughter,
grandchild and great-grandchildren.
Some of the ideas are as follows;
the dishes dished up in a wooden bowl or an earthen bowl, showing not only the delicate changes of four
seasons but also the warm heart of the mistress;
Paying an entertaining attention to each of the customers; Beautiful flowers decorated in an alcove will
give you a seasonal agent of nature, and you will enjoy the quiet feeling for a while just away from the
busy daily life.
The counter seat is equipped for one person as well as the larger rooms are available for a reception, a
happy event, or for holding a memorial service.
